"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11
New years are always a great opportunity to start over, regroup, and just another way to begin again. Of course we can do this anytime in the year, as I seem to do most of the time, but it just seems customary and logical to start at the beginning, a new year. For many, a new year gets us to think about what this year has in store for us. We may anticipate and hope for good, worry about what is to come, or just let the year roll on by as we go along with it. Whatever way you choose to go, consider hoping for good. Against all odds and against all logic we continue to hope.
- Hope helps us to keep moving and gives us something to look forward to.
- Hope gives us a sense that better things are ahead.
- Hope will get us through tough times.
- Hope is stronger than any challenge that comes our way.
As we begin the year, know that hope abounds and sustains us to keep moving forward.
